Public's Help Sought to Locate a Stolen Goat from Southeast Portland's Pleasant Valley (Photo)

On Monday August 4, 2014, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Portland Police took a report on the theft of a goat from a residence in the 6800 block of Southeast 122nd Avenue.

The owner of "Penelope" the goat reported that she was tethered and secured in the front yard and that she was taken sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.

The owner does not believe Penelope would have been able to escape and that someone stole her from the yard.

Penelope is described as a two-year-old female Nigerian Dwarf Goat, approximately 2'5" tall, 50 pounds, brown and white in color.
