The Portland Police Bureau's Gang Enforcement Team, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve the shooting of four people in Downtown Portland.

On Sunday August 17, 2014, at 12:37 a.m., Central Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to Southwest 3rd Avenue and Ash Street on the report of a shooting.

Multiple officers responded to the area and located three gunshot victims suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. A fourth victim went to a hospital on Wednesday August 20 and discovered bullet fragments in one of his arms.

Witnesses told police that there was a large group fighting prior to the shooting, which investigators believe is gang-related. Investigators also believe that three of the four victims were not the intended targets but were innocent bystanders.

21-year-old Jaron Cuie, 37-year-old Damarvis Lee, 25-year-old Ricardo Savoy Hernandez, and 29-year-old Robert Grijalva were the four men injured in the shooting.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the investigator.

Anyone with second-hand information is asked to share it with police.
