On Saturday February 13, 2016, at 9:51 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire at 92nd Avenue and East Burnside Street.

On Saturday February 13, 2016, at 2:40 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Escape Bar & Grill, located at 9004 Northeast Sandy Boulevard.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted employees who told police that the suspect, armed with a handgun, entered the bar and demanded money.*-..

02/13/2016 Bank Robbery Investigation Underway After Woodstock Neighborhood Bank Robbed on Saturday Morning

On Saturday February 13, 2016, at 10:17 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of a bank robbery at the Key Bank branch located at 4600 Southeast Woodstock Boulevard.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted employees who told police that the suspect entered the bank, implied that he had a weapon, and demanded money.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the bank without incident and was last seen walking southbound on 46th Avenue.

Officers searched the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the suspect's description.

The suspect is described as an unknown age male, possibly white or Hispanic, 6' tall, wearing a dark puffy coat, hooded sweatshirt, mask or some other kind of face covering, and gloves.*-..

On Friday February 12, 2016, at 4:45 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to Southwest 2nd Avenue, between Yamhill and Morrison Streets, on the report that a man jumped from the roof of a building and landed on a parked car.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located a male in his 20s or 30s suffering traumatic injuries.*-..

02/12/2016 Portland Police Officer Resigns After Pleading Guilty to Official Misconduct

On Friday February 12, 2016, Officer Jeromie Palaoro pled guilty to one count of Official Misconduct in the First Degree in Multnomah County Court and resigned from the Portland Police Bureau.

Palaoro was the subject of a criminal and internal investigation that began in July 2015 after the Bureau became aware of misconduct allegations.

As part of his plea agreement, Palaoro also had his police certification revoked by the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) and may no longer serve as a police officer.

02/11/2016 Suspect Fires Gunshots at Victim Over Camping Dispute in Downtown Portland - No Known Injuries

On Thursday February 11, 2016, at 8:36 p.m., Central Precinct responded to Northwest Naito Parkway under the Broadway Bridge on a second hand report that someone was firing a gun under the bridge.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted witnesses who told police that two homeless men were arguing over a camping spot when one of the men pulled a handgun and fired several shots towards the other man.*-..

02/10/2016 Driver Arrested After Nearly Hitting Construction Workers, Attempting to Elude Police in Downtown Portland (Photo)

On Wednesday February 10, 2016, a 29-year-old man was arrested after leading police on two separate slow-speed traffic pursuits in Downtown Portland.

The driver, 29-year-old Frederick John Dekraker, was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Attempt to Elude by Vehicle (two counts), and Reckless Driving (two counts), Recklessly Endangering Workers (four counts). He will be arraigned on Thursday.

At 9:46 a.m., two Family Services Division officers attempted to stop a dark blue 2001 Chevrolet Suburban on Southwest 3rd Avenue near Washington Street for traffic violations.*-..
