08/28/2014 Driver Rams Washington State Trooper after Pursuit into Oregon - No Injuries (Photo)

On Thursday August 28, 2014, at 1:51 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to I-5 southbound at Rosa Parks to assist Washington State Patrol (WSP) troopers who were in a traffic pursuit with a black Ford Mustang.

The suspect crossed the Fremont Bridge and exited the freeway into the Northwest Industrial area, and drove into a dead end at Northwest 29th Avenue and Roosevelt Street.

The suspect turned the car around and rammed his car into the front of one of the WSP patrol cars.*-..

08/28/2014 Gang Violence Investigation Lead to Three Search Warrants, One Arrest - Investigation Ongoing (Photo)

This morning, Thursday August 28, 2014, at approximately 5:00 a.m., three search warrants were served in the Portland Metro area as part of an ongoing gang violence investigation by the Portland Police Bureau's Gang Enforcement Team (GET).

Warrants were served at the following locations:

1009 West 23rd Street; Vancouver, Washington

2628 Northeast 13th Avenue; Portland, Oregon

2965 Southeast 92nd Avenue; Portland, Oregon

The Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) assisted with the service of the warrants in Portland.

The Vancouver (WA) Police Department Gang Unit assisted with the service of the warrant in Vancouver.

The Portland Police Bureau's Drugs and Vice Division (DVD) and the Metro Gang Task Force also assisted with this investigation and search warrant service.

08/25/2014 Police Still Seeking Tips to Solve 2013 Homicide - Crime Stoppers Featured Case #13-32 (Photo)

Portland Police Bureau Homicide detectives, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, are asking for the public's help in solving a triple shooting and homicide in Northeast Portland.

On November 9, 2013, at 12:45 a.m., North Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to the report of a large fight and riot outside the Fontaine Bleau Nightclub, located at 237 Northeast Broadway.

Officers arrived to find a crowd of 75-100 people involved in a disturbance and 30-year-old Durieul Joseph Harris suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.*-..

On Wednesday August 20, 2014, at 8:09 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to a residence in the 5100 block of Southeast Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard on a welfare check.
