07/07/2015 Gang Shooting in North Tabor Neighborhood Injures Teen, Nearly Hits 66-Year-Old Woman

On Tuesday July 7, 2015, at 6:02 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of a shooting on Northeast 60th Avenue at Oregon Street, near I-84.

Several officers responded to the area and spoke with witnesses but did not locate a victim.

Approximately 15 minutes after the shooting, a male in his late-teens arrived at a Portland hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.*-..

On Monday July 6, 2015, at 9:42 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the area of North Greeley Avenue and Dekum Street after a caller reported a possible drive-by shooting.

Officers arrived in the area and located 10 vehicles in the immediate area that had damage caused by a BB gun.

Witnesses provided suspect vehicle information as a gray or silver Mercedes SUV.

At 10:35 p.m., a North Precinct officer spotted a vehicle matching the suspect's description in the 4400 block of North Vancouver Avenue.*-..
