On Sunday April 19, 2015, at 2:54 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to Northeast Columbia Boulevard at 33rd Avenue on the report of a traffic crash where one person was ejected from the vehicle.

04/15/2015 UPDATE: Central Precinct Officers Talking with Woman Threatening to Jump from SW Portland Bridge

Officers were able to talk the 36-year-old woman out of jumping off the bridge and she has been taken into protective custody and will taken to a Portland hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Barbur Boulevard will be reopened to all traffic.



On Wednesday April 15, 2015, at 6:24 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to Southwest Barbur Boulevard and Parkhill Drive on the report of the report of a woman standing on a bridge overpass railing.

Officers arrived in the area and made contact with the woman and have been talking with her for approximately an hour.*-..

04/15/2015 Double Homicide Suspect Colby Robinson Killed in Officer-Involved Shooting in Texas (Photo)

In the late evening hours of Tuesday April 14, Portland Police Bureau Homicide detectives learned that 26-year-old Colby James Robinson, the suspect in the shooting on Friday evening that killed two people and critically injured a third, was shot and killed by Desoto (TX) Police in Dallas, Texas.

According to the Dallas Police Department, on Tuesday April 14, at approximately 9:29 p.m. (Dallas time), Desoto Police Department officers were involved in a vehicle pursuit involving Colby Robinson.

Desoto officers followed Robinson to Camp Wisdom and I-35 in Dallas, where he fled on foot to the 7000 block of Altaire Avenue.*-..
