On Thursday August 18, 2016, at 12:28 a.m., East Precinct officers contacted a man asleep in a vehicle at Southeast 122nd Avenue and Reedway Street after a concerned passerby called 9-1-1.

Officers awakened the man, 32-year-old Adam Joseph Coopersmith, after observing items in plain view that led officers to believe he may have ingested illegal narcotics.

Coopersmith got out of the vehicle and gave officers consent to search his vehicle.*-..

Victoria Dan has been safely located and has returned home.



The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help to locate 56-year-old Victoria Dan, missing since August 15, 2016.

Victoria was last seen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday when she left her home in the 5000 block of Southeast 72nd Avenue for her nightly walk.

Family has told police that Victoria has partial left-side paralysis which causes her to walk slowly.*-..
