11/25/2016 Gang Member Suspected of Double Shooting Arrested on Monday (Photo)

On Monday November 21, 2016, 26-year-old Claybourne Michael Crane was arrested in connection with the shooting of two women on November 18.

Crane was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Attempted Aggravated Murder (three counts), Attempted Murder, Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree (two counts), Unlawful Use of a Weapon (three counts), Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of Cocaine.

Crane is a documented gang member and was arrested by members of the Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) after Gang Enforcement Team (GET) detectives developed probable cause to arrest him for the shooting.

This investigation started on November 18, at 12:39 a.m., when North Precinct officers responded to the report of a shooting at Jags Clubhouse, located at 605 North Columbia Boulevard.*-..

11/21/2016 Three Arrested During Student Protest March on Monday Afternoon

In the afternoon hours of Monday November 21, 2016, Portland Police Bureau officers arrested three people during a student protest march that started at Holliday Park at 4:00 p.m.

* 23-year-old Gregory Robert McKelvey was arrested for Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree;

* 23-year-old Micah Isaiah Rhodes was arrested for Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree and Interfering with a Peace Officer; and,

* 24-year-old Kathryn Nora Stevens was arrested for Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree and Interfering with a Peace Officer.
