02/13/2013 Portland Police Arrest Four Men for 2012 Murder of Northeast Portland Man

Today, Wednesday February 13, 2013, detectives from the Portland Police Bureau charged four men with the July 2012 murder of 49-year-old Bernard Linton Yarborough in Northeast Portland's King neighborhood. Arrested for murder related charges: Aggravated Murder: 21-year-old Ladarius Dashawn Storey Jr. Murder: 26-year-old Jelani Jabari McClendon Murder: 21-year-old Byron Lamar Bearyman Murder: 20-year-old Deandre Money Goudy Storey has been in custody since September 16, 2012 and Goudy has been in custody since November 16, 2012, both on unrelated charges. This investigation began on July 19, 2012, at 6:46 p.m., when Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct and the Gang Enforcement Team responded to the report of a shooting in the 5800 block of Northeast 6th Avenue. 02/13/2013 UPDATE: Portland Police to Conduct Traffic Safety Mission This Morning at NW Broadway and Couch

Officers from the Portland Police Bureau's Traffic Division issued six (6) citations and nine (9) written warnings during today's traffic safety mission at Northwest Broadway and Couch Street. Four citations and eight written warnings were issued to motorists while two citations and one written warning to bicycle riders. The Portland Police Bureau Traffic Division continues to respond to community concerns about traffic safety.
