The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help in solving a robbery in Southeast Portland's Hazelwood neighborhood. On Saturday August 25, 2012, at 12:41 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of a robbery at Dotty's Deli, located at 10090 Southeast Washington Street. Officers arrived in the area and spoke to the victim who told police that the suspect entered the business and demanded money as he implied that he had a gun.*-..

This evening, Tuesday September 18, 2012, at 8:41 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery at Lotos Deli & Lottery, located at 3611 Northeast 82nd Avenue. Officers arrived in the area and made contact with the victim who told police that the suspect entered the deli and displayed a handgun as he demanded money.*-..

09/18/2012 Portland Police Investigating Three Pedestrian Robberies Sunday Night

In the late evening hours of Sunday September 16 and early hours of Monday September 17, 2012, Portland Police officers responded to three separate pedestrian robberies that may be connected. At 10:24 p.m. Sunday night, officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery of a pedestrian at Northeast 36th Avenue and Grant Place in the Grant Park neighborhood. Officers arrived and spoke to the victim who told police that he was riding his skateboard to work at the 33rd Avenue QFC grocery store when he was approached by three African American male teens, one of who was armed with a handgun. The victim told police that he started to run away but one of the suspects grabbed his backpack and the three suspects fled the area. Officers checked the neighborhood and located some of the victim's property at Northeast 37th Avenue and Knott Street. At 11:30 p.m., officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery of a pedestrian at Southeast 20th Avenue and Oak Street in the East Buckman neighborhood. Officers arrived and spoke to the victim who told police that she was walking home when she was confronted by an African American male who demanded she give him her property.*-..

Officers arrived and checked the area for the suspect, described as a white male in his 30s, wearing a maroon stocking cap and an t-shirt with a duck on the front.
