Last night, Tuesday March 22, 2011, at approximately 8;15 p.m., Portland Police Gang Enforcement Detectives, with the assistance of the Portland Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT), the Gun Task Force, and Gresham SERT, arrested 26-year-old Theautry James Zeno of Vancouver, Washington, in connection with the shooting of 27-year-old Izeah Williams on Friday March 18, 2011 at Northeast 107th Avenue and Fremont Street. 05/03/2013 Portland Police Arrest Sexual Assault Suspect Who Preyed on Homeless Women

Today, Friday May 3, 2013, Portland Police officers arrested 63-year-old Ladell Hill for sexually assaulting two women in Downtown Portland. This morning, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the report of a sexual assault at Southwest Park Avenue and Columbia Street, where the victim locked herself in a Portland Loo. Officers arrived and contacted the 22-year-old female victim, who was taken to a Portland hospital for treatment. During the course of the investigation, officers were able to develop information on a suspect, Ladell Hill, who was later arrested in the area. Sex Crimes Unit detectives responded to continue the investigation and determined that Hill sexually assaulted a 27-year-old woman approximately three weeks ago in the 100 Block of Southwest 6th Avenue. Based on these investigations, Hill was charged with Rape in the First Degree and Sodomy in the First Degree and booked into the Multnomah County Jail.*-..

On Tuesday November 25, 2014, Portland Police officers made seven arrests for unlawful behavior after a splinter group broke away from a very peaceful Ferguson demonstration in Downtown Portland.

Tuesday afternoon's demonstration and march that started and ended at the Justice Center was peaceful, well attended and there were no reported problems during the march.

After the organized event ended, a separate group broke away and began a second march that wound its way through Downtown Portland, across the Burnside Bridge and onto Southeast Grand Avenue.

At Southeast Grand Avenue and Oak Street, a driver seated in a vehicle was assaulted by a member of the crowd.*-..

07/03/2012 Portland Police Arrest Serial Robbery Suspect in Northeast Portland

Today, Tuesday July 3, 2012, Portland Police Bureau Robbery Detectives arrested 24-year-old Baylen Luis Parada in connection with two robberies. On June 28, 2012, Parada used a knife to rob the Pizza Hut located at 611 Northeast 82nd Avenue. On July 2, 2012, Parada used a firearm to rob the Fastrak Food Mart located at 2431 Northeast Broadway. Detectives believe that Parada is involved in nine additional robberies between June 24 and July 2, 2012.
