Early this morning, Wednesday June 29, 2011, at 12:10 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report that a 34-year-old male walked in to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his left calf. Officers contacted the victim, Tamir Lawrence, who told them that he'd been on the porch of his residence in the 3500 block of North Albina Avenue when someone fired multiple shots at him, striking him one time. Officers went to the area described by Lawrence and found evidence of gunfire in the street and several bullet holes in Lawrence's residence.*-..
