04/07/2014 UPDATE - Shooting Investigation at Northeast 122nd and Sandy - One Person Injured (Photo)

22-year-old Patrick Kimmons was the gunshot victim dropped off at Providence Hospital then later transported to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center on Friday night.

Kimmons' injuries were not life-threatening.

After Kimmons was dropped off at Providence, hospital security alerted police about a vehicle containing several occupants that was somehow associated to Kimmons.*-..

04/06/2014 Northeast Fremont Street Bar Robbed at Gunpoint Overnight

This morning, Sunday April 6, 2014, at 2:15 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Fremont Ridge Inn, located at 5103 Northeast Fremont Street.

Officers arrived and spoke to employees who told police that two men entered the bar, one armed with a handgun, and demanded money.*-..

04/05/2014 Armed Robbery of Cricket Wireless in Northeast Portland's Madison South Neighborhood

This afternoon, Saturday April 5, 2014, at 1:08 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Cricket Wireless store, located at 8226 Northeast Fremont Street.

Officers arrived and contacted the employee who told police that he locked the door to take the trash out and when he returned to the front door, the suspect was waiting to go inside.

Once inside, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the employee.*-..

This morning, Friday April 4, 2014, at 5:00 a.m., the Portland Police Bureau's Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) served a search warrant at 3576 Southeast Division Street, in connection with a series of late-2013 robberies at clothing stores.

31-year-old Thaddeus Vachel Lindsay-Woods was arrested and charged with Robbery in the First Degree and Robbery in the Second Degree.*-..
