75-year-old Margaret Richardson has been found safe and is no longer considered a missing person.

The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help to locate missing 75-year-old Margaret Richardson.

Margaret left her Sunnyside Neighborhood residence this morning at approximately 11:30 a.m. and was last spotted at approximately 2:00 p.m. walking near Southeast 33rd Avenue and Belmont Street.

Margaret has severe dementia and gets easily confused and disoriented.*-..

11/13/2014 Falling Tree Strikes Bicycle Rider & Vehicle in Downtown Portland

On Tuesday November 11, 2014, at 4:12 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to Southwest Naito Parkway and Morrison Street on the report that a large tree fell onto the roadway and struck a passing cyclist and landed on an occupied vehicle.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located the bicycle rider who was suffering from traumatic but not life-threatening injuries.*-..

11/13/2014 UPDATE #2 - NAME RELEASE: Update on Homicide Investigation and SERT Activation

Today the Oregon State Medical Examiner conducted autopsies on both Nicolette Elias and Ian Elias.

Nicolette Elias suffered multiple gunshot wounds as well as two wounds from arrows.

Ian Elias died of a single self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.

Homicide detectives are continuing the investigation but do not believe there are any outstanding suspects or risk to the community.

Homicide detectives have been able to confirm the identities and notify family of both people involved in today's homicide and suicide.

46-year-old Nicolette Naomi Elias was the woman killed on Southwest Brugger Street.

47-year-old Ian Martin Elias was the man who took his own life on Northeast 25th Avenue.

Both of their families are asking for privacy during this very difficult time.

No additional updates on this case are expected today.
