On Monday September 1, 2014, at 5:53 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the Nordstrom Rack, located at 245 Southwest Morrison Street, on the report that a man was seen taking pictures up a woman's skirt.

09/02/2014 Man Jumps to His Death from Downtown Portland Apartment Building

On Tuesday September 2, 2014, at 7:38 a.m., Central Precinct officers responded to Southwest 17th Avenue and Clay Street on the report of a man down on the ground that appeared to be deceased.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and determined that the adult male was deceased.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner and Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and determined that the man jumped from his nearby apartment, which was on the upper floors of the building.

Help is available for community members struggling from a mental health crisis and/or suicidal thoughts.
