06/18/2015 Shooting Investigation Underway in Lloyd District - No Known Injuries

On Thursday June 18, 2015, at 8:57 p.m., North Precinct, Transit and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to the report of multiple gunshots heard in the area of Northeast 12th Avenue and Holladay Street.

Officers arrived in the area and spoke with witnesses who told police that they heard several gunshots and saw a group of African American male running southbound on 12th Avenue from Lloyd Boulevard after the shots.*-..

06/18/2015 Crime Stoppers Featured Case #15-23 Robbery (Photo)

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve a North Portland robbery.

On April 29, 2015, at 11:11 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the Overlook Restaurant, located at 1332 North Skidmore Street, on the report of an armed robbery.

Officers learned that the suspect approached the victim in the parking lot, armed with a handgun, and escorted the victim into the restaurant after closing time.

After obtaining a large sum of cash, the suspect left the restaurant without incident.

A surveillance image and a forensic sketch are being released to assist with this investigation.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6' tall, 175 pounds, medium build, brown hair, and a mustache.

Information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube should be shared with investigators as these tips may lead to the identification of a suspect or suspects.*-..

The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Person's Unit is asking for the public's help to locate a missing 71-year-old woman.

56-year-old Dennis John Davis turned himself in to his parole officer today and is no longer of interest.

He'll be booked into the Multnomah County Jail.



The United States Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force, Multnomah County Parole & Probation and the Portland Police Bureau are asking for the public's help in located a sex offender wanted for a parole violation.

06/14/2015 Fight on Eastbank Esplanade Injures One Man - Suspect Armed with a Machete

On Sunday June 14, 2015, at 8:01 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the Eastbank Esplanade, just North of Taylor Street, on the report that a man was attacked by another man who was armed with a machete.

Officers arrived and located the victim, a 42-year-old male, who was suffering from a serious injury to one of his arms.*-..

06/14/2015 Burglar Arrested Riding Stolen Bicycle in Southeast Portland (Photo)

On Sunday June 14, 2015, at 3:14 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the Target Store at Mall 205 on the report of a burglary in progress at the store.

Officers arrived in the area and set a perimeter around the store and requested a Police K-9 Unit.

The suspect, later identified as 26-year-old Lance Brady Gonzalez, fled out the back of the store on a bicycle he stole from Target.

Officers pursued Gonzalez, who jumped off the bicycle at Southeast 92nd Avenue and Mill Street and began running away.*-..

06/13/2015 Two Men Arrested with Guns at Alberta Park on Friday Night - One a Suspect in a May 2015 Shooting (Photo)

In the evening hours of Friday June 12, 2015, North Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team (GET) officers stopped two men at Alberta Park in Northeast Portland based on information that led officers to believe both were armed with guns.

Both men were taken into custody without incident and both were armed with handguns at the time of their arrest.

27-year-old Jamias Leondre Hart-Rasberry was arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Aggravated Theft in the First Degree, and Possession of a Weapon in a Park.

20-year-old William Lamar O'Neal was arrested for Attempted Murder, Attempted Assault in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (two counts), and Possession of a Loaded Firearm.

O'Neal, a documented gang member, was identified by GET detectives as the suspect in the May 18, 2015 shooting at Montavilla Park in Northeast Portland.

The shooting in Montavilla Park occurred on Monday May 18, 2015, at 4:13 p.m. No gunshot victims were located and detectives would still like to hear from anyone with information about the shooting.

On Friday June 12, 2015, at 10:41 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the Jiffy Lube, located at Northeast 108th Avenue and Halsey Street, on the report that a suspect was passing a bad check.
