The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in identifying a suspect that robbed a Plaid Pantry in March 2011. On March 3, 2011 at approximately 10:21 p.m., Portland Police responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Plaid Pantry store, located at 4516 Southwest Vermont Street. Officers arrived in the area and learned that the suspect fled the store on foot after obtaining an undisclosed sum of money from the clerk. The suspect entered the store and pulled a black handgun from the front of his waistband, pointed it at two employees and demanded money. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, 5'11", 175 lbs., blond hair, blue eyes, wearing a black Carhartt-type jacket, blue sweatshirt, black shoes, and a white cloth over his face.*-..

04/08/2011 UPDATE: Portland Police Investigate Shots Fired in Southeast Portland

Early this morning, Friday April 8, 2011, Portland Police officers booked 30-year-old Eicca Elglavoi Lucas of Gresham into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Reckless Endangerment, Possession of a Loaded Firearm in the City, Discharging a Firearm in the City, and Domestic Violence Menacing. Investigators from the Portland Police Bureau's Domestic Violence Reduction Unit learned that Lucas had a dispute with his 30-year-old girlfriend on the street and fired a shot into the air.
