This evening, Monday October 29, 2012, at 6:30 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct and the Gang Enforcement Team responded to the report of multiple shots being fired in McCoy Park, near the intersection of North Newman Avenue and Trenton Street. Officers arrived in the area and contacted area witnesses who told police that two African American males wearing dark-colored hoodies were in the park and both were firing guns in the direction of North Newman and Trenton.
