10/19/2012 UPDATE #3 ADDITIONAL ARREST: Portland Police Arrest Two Robbery Suspects after Traffic Pursuit in Southeast Portland

On Tuesday October 16, Robbery detectives arrested 23-year-old Tyrell Milton Burton on multiple charges related to the October 13 robbery at Gator's Bar & Grill. Burton was charged with three counts of Robbery in the First Degree, and one count each of Burglary in the First Degree, Burglary in the Second Degree, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Investigators determined that Burton shot himself after the robbery. ###PPB### ###ORIGINAL MESSAGE BELOW### Portland Police Robbery Detectives have arrested one man in connection with this morning's robbery in Southeast Portland. 29-year-old Antwaun Leshawn Spencer was arrested for three counts of Robbery in the First Degree, Attempt to Elude in a Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver, and Driving While Suspended. On Wednesday October 17, 2012, a warrant sweep was conducted in the Portland area focusing on domestic violence offenders. The sweep was a coordinated effort between the Portland Police Bureau's Domestic Violence Reduction Team (DVRU), the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office Warrant Strike Team, the Multnomah County Department of Community Justice's Domestic Violence Unit, the Oregon Department of Human Services, Multnomah County Animal Control, the Multnomah County Domestic Violence Enhanced Response Team (DVERT), the Volunteers of America-Home Free, and the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office. 11 offenders were arrested out of the 44 attempts at warrant service.*-..
