12/30/2010 Officer-Involved Shooting Update

The Portland Police Bureau officers associated with the Monday December 27, 2010 officer-involved shooting in Southwest Portland with Marcus Lagozzino have been identified as Officers Jamin Becker, Ralph Elwood, Scott Foster, and Bradley Clark. Officer Jamin Becker, a 2-year-veteran of the Police Bureau, fired a Taser? one time. Officer Ralph Elwood, a 14-year-veteran of the Police Bureau, fired four rounds from a less lethal shotgun. Officer Scott Foster, a 17-year-veteran of the Police Bureau, fired three rounds from less lethal shotgun. Officer Bradley Clark, a 4-year-veteran of the Police Bureau, fired four shots from an AR-15 at Lagozzino, striking him at least three times.*-..

On Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at approximately 4:20 p.m., a suspect walked into Margulis Jewelers, located in Downtown Portland at 800 SW Broadway, and stole two valuable rings. The suspect is described as a white male, 28 to 35 years, 5'5" to 5'7", 130 pounds, very slight build with narrow face and particularly small hands, short and thinning light brown hair, clean-shaven and very neatly groomed.*-..
