03/28/2014 UPDATE - ARREST: Stabbing in Southeast Portland's Foster-Powell Neighborhood Injures One Man - Suspect in Custody

51-year-old Nantharath Thilavanh was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on a charge of Assault in the Second Degree in connection with this stabbing.

The victim, 49-year-old Sergey Evan Feodoroff, continues to recover from non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators learned that the two men, who knew each other, argued over some money which led to the stabbing.

This evening, Thursday March 27, 2014, at 9:39 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of a stabbing in the 5100 block of Southeast 76th Avenue.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located the victim, a male in his 40s or 50s, suffering from stab wounds to the chest.*-..

Officers arrived and took the suspect, 24-year-old Jared Glen Christensen, into custody.

03/31/2014 UPDATE - Major Crash Team Investigating a Single Vehicle Traffic Fatality in North Portland

The man killed in Sunday's traffic fatality on North Interstate Avenue has been identified as 30-year-old Lamar Jaray Hart.

Investigators determined that Hart was driving a 2007 Ford Five Hundred sedan at a high rate of speed northbound on Interstate Avenue when he lost control and crashed into a power pole.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner is awaiting toxicology reports to determine if drugs and/or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
