This weekend, officers from the Portland Police Bureau responded to a number of calls involving people struggling in a mental health crisis, including two suicides. On Friday September 28, 2012, at 4:07 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the 7400 block of North Chicago Avenue on the report of a person struggling in a mental health crisis. 09/26/2012 Suspect in Irvington Neighborhood Vandalism Sought by Portland Police

On Wednesday September 26, 2012, at 1:08 a.m., Portland Police officers responded to the report of a person spraying water onto new cars at Vic Alfonso Cadillac-Hummer, located at 633 Northeast 12th Avenue. Officers arrived and learned that the liquid sprayed on the vehicles was actually some kind of corrosive agent and that it had substantially damaged the paint on five new Cadillac's in the rear parking lot of the dealership. The 9-1-1 caller reported seeing the suspect walking northbound on 11th Avenue spraying some kind of liquid on the vehicles.*-..
