04/08/2014 UPDATE - ARRESTED: Crime Stoppers Featured Case #14-16 Wanted Sex Abuse Suspect (Photo)

Wanted suspect, 34-year-old Carlos Miguel Deleon, turned himself in early this morning to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office and was booked into jail.



The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help in locating a wanted sex abuse suspect

34-year-old Carlos Miguel Deleon has a felony warrant for Sex Abuse in the First Degree after an investigation revealed that Deleon was sexually abusing his teenage daughter.

Deleon is described as a male Hispanic, 5'9" tall, 180 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, with multiple tattoos on his body.

Anyone seeing Deleon is asked to immediately call 9-1-1.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and tipsters can remain anonymous.

06/27/2013 UPDATE - ARRESTS: Arson Investigators Seek Public's Help Identifying Two Suspects in Mill Park School Fire

Portland Fire & Rescue Arson Investigators arrested two men in connection with the March 6, 2013 dumpster fire at Mill Park School in Southeast Portland. 24-year-old Daniel Cristurean and 24-year-old Jonathan Austin Weatherall both turned themselves in to investigators this evening and were booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Reckless Burning, Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree. The stolen Stealth Bomber electric bicycle has been returned to the owner after someone saw a reward flyer in the neighborhood where the bicycle was stolen from in Southeast Portland.

The Police Bureau and the victim appreciate the community interest in this case.



The Portland Police Bureau is asking for the public's help in locating a stolen Stealth Bomber electric bicycle valued at nearly $10,000.

04/12/2013 UPDATE - Child Abuse Team Seeking Public's Help Identifying a Woman Seen Kicking, Slapping and Pushing a Child at the Oregon Zoo

Portland Police Child Abuse Team (CAT) investigators have identified the woman and child involved in the incident Tuesday at the Oregon Zoo after numerous tips from the public. The Canby Police Department, Oregon Department of Human Services and the Clackamas County Child Protective Service, have worked in conjunction with the Portland Police Bureau and the case now rests with the Department of Human Services for follow-up. The Portland Police Bureau would like to thank the public and media for interest in this case and cannot comment further as it is an ongoing, confidential investigation. The Oregon State Medical Examiner today conducted an autopsy on 31-year-old Chad Wang, found deceased on Saturday in the backyard of a residence in the 13000 block of Southeast Lincoln Street.

The Medical Examiner is awaiting toxicology results before determining the exact cause of death.*-..

02/27/2014 UPDATE - Death Investigation Underway in Northeast Portland's Cully Neighborhood

The Oregon State Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy on Friday February 28, 2014, to determine what killed a 63-year-old man in Northeast Portland's Cully neighborhood.

Detectives are not able to determine if this is a homicide until after the autopsy.

Updates will be provided on Friday.



This afternoon, Thursday February 27, 2014, at 2:28 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the Cedar Shade Mobile Home Park, located at 7120 Northeast Killingsworth Street, on the report of an unconscious older male inside one of the residences.
