The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help in solving an armed robbery in Southeast Portland's Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood. On Thursday November 1, 2012, at 7:50 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery at Dotty's Deli, located at 11926 Southeast Division Street. 11/26/2012 Portland Police Investigating Two Armed Robberies in North and Northwest Portland

This evening, Monday November 26, 2012, at 7:49 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Subway, located at 9000 North Lombard Street. Officers arrived and contacted the victim who told police that the suspect entered the shop and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect ran out the door and possibly left in a dark-colored SUV. The suspect is described as a younger unknown race male, possibly Asian or Hispanic, 5'2" tall, thin build, wearing a ski mask and black clothing.*-..

11/26/2012 UPDATE: Portland Police Investigating a Sexual Assault in Downtown Portland

The Portland Police Bureau is continuing to investigate this morning's sexual assault in Downtown Portland. The victim, a 27-year-old female Portland State University student, was treated and released from a Portland hospital. Detectives have learned little new information at this point but do have some additional descriptors of the suspect. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s, shaggy light brown hair, pronounced cheekbones, and an unshaven face. Detectives are asking for the public's help in locating the suspect. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Detective Jason Christensen at (5053) 823-0894.
