On Sunday August 19, 2012, at 1:22 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Old Market Pub, located at 6959 Southwest Garden Home Road. As officers were enroute to the call they learned that the suspect also took an employee's car. Officers contacted the one of the employees who told police that she closed the pub and was walking to her car with the other employee when the suspect came running out of the bushes pointing a gun at them.*-..

01/07/2014 St. Johns Neighborhood Home Invasion Robbery Suspect Disarmed, Subdued by Residents (Photo)

On Monday January 6, 2014, at 5:21 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to a residence in the 10300 block of North Tyler Avenue on the report that an armed man broke down the front door demanding money and was knocked out by one of the residents.

Officers arrived at the home and took the suspect, identified as 38-year-old Joshua McCoy, into custody.

The residents told police that McCoy kicked in the front door of the home, armed with a pistol-grip shotgun, and demanded money.*-..

12/12/2013 Stabbing in Lloyd District - Police Searching for Suspect

This afternoon, Thursday December 12, 2013, at 2:29 p.m., North Precinct and Transit Police Division officers responded to Northeast 11th Avenue and Holladay Street on the report of a stabbing.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and contacted the male adult victim who told police he'd been stabbed by an man while using the payphone on the NE corner of the intersection, next to Holladay Park.

The victim was transported to a Portland hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers searched the area for the suspect but did not locate anyone matching the suspect's description.

The suspect is described as an African American male with short hair wearing a red hoodie, black jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes.*-..
