02/13/2012 Truck Driver Cited After Fatal Traffic Crash in November

On Friday November 25, 2011, at 7:05 a.m., Portland Police officers were called to investigate a fatal traffic crash at Northeast 47th Avenue and Columbia Boulevard. The Traffic Division?s Major Crash Team conducted the investigation and determined that a 2008 Volvo semi-tractor with a tanker-trailer, driven by 35-year-old Ibrahim Halilovic, was eastbound on Columbia Boulevard when the vehicle traveled through a red light at a speed faster than the speed limit. The tractor struck a 2010 Toyota 4-Runner driven by 64-year-old Roderick Hawthorne, which was traveling northbound on 47th Avenue.*-..

01/27/2015 Truck Smashes into Concordia Neighborhood Walgreen's - Attempts to Steal ATM

On Tuesday January 27, 2015, at 4:13 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of an ATM theft in progress at the Walgreen's store, located at 5420 Northeast 33rd Avenue.

As officers were still en route, witnesses told 9-1-1 that two men ran from the truck, which was stuck inside the store.
