02/11/2015 Stranger Danger Alert in Northeast Portland's Irvington Neighborhood

The Portland Police Bureau is asking the community to be aware of a reported incident where a stranger talked to some Irvington School students on the afternoon of Tuesday February 10, 2015.

Officers from the Youth Services Division took a report this morning about the incident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon, at approximately 3:37 p.m.

The two 10-year-old students told police that they were walking home from school and at Northeast 14th Avenue and Thompson Street, a stranger approached them and told them to come to him.

The students told police that they ran away and that they were chased by the man.*-..

02/04/2015 Stranger Danger Alert in Northeast Portland's Irvington Neighborhood

The Portland Police Bureau is asking the community to be aware of a reported incident where a stranger tried to get two kids into his car.

On Tuesday February 3, 2015, officers assigned to the Youth Services Division responded to Irvington School, located at 1320 Northeast Brazee Street, on the report that two students reported to school staff that a stranger tried to get them into his vehicle.

A 13-year-old male student told police that he and his 5-year-old brother were walking to school on Monday (February 2) at approximately 8:15 a.m., when a man in a car pulled up along side them near Northeast 11th Avenue and Tillamook Street.*-..

10/07/2014 Stranger Danger Alert: Suspect Grabs 13-Year-Old Girl in Northeast Portland - Victim Safe (Photo)

On Tuesday October 7, 2014, at 9:00 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the area of Northeast 82nd Avenue and Prescott Street on the report that a stranger grabbed a 13-year-old girl on the arm and told her he was going to take her home.

Several officers responded to the area and contacted the victim who told police that she was walking from one bus stop to another when the suspect yelled out to her something similar to, "Hey, come here!" The girl refused and told the man to leave her alone.*-..

On October 7, 2014, at 7:50 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the Columbia Arboretum, located in the 10000 block of Northeast 6th Drive, on the report that a 15-year-old girl was grabbed on the arm by a stranger.
