On Wednesday June 13, 2012, investigators from the Portland Police Bureau Drugs and Vice Division (DVD) were conducting follow-up on a recent heroin overdose investigation. Investigators contacted the resident of 6624 Southeast 72nd Avenue and obtained consent to search his vehicle and residence.
