31-year-old Robert James Thomas was arrested by Portland Police officers after he was released from the hospital where he was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries he suffered after attacking two women. Thomas was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on two counts of Assault in the Fourth Degree and one count of Harassment (Domestic Violence). Portland Police officers searching the Lents neighborhood last night did not locate the suspect involved in stabbing a TriMet bus operator, identified as 35-year-old Brian Nixon.
