01/12/2014 UPDATE - North Precinct Officers Respond to Shooting (Photo)

Portland Police Assault detectives are continuing to investigate last night's shooting in the 3700 block of Northeast Rodney Avenue.

50-year-old Harry Brogdon was treated and released at a Portland hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Brogdon told police that three unknown males approached him from behind and one of them started shooting, striking him once in the shoulder.

Brogdon was unable to provide any additional information.

Upon his release from the hospital, Brogdon was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on an unrelated Federal warrant.

01/12/2014 UPDATE - East Precinct Officers Respond to Report of Domestic Disturbance Involving a Firearm (Photo)

Officers arrested 34-year-old Harley Leon Schramm on charges of Felon in Possession of a Firearm (two counts) in connection with this domestic disturbance.

Schramm was booked into the Multnomah County Jail and will be arraigned on Monday.

01/15/2014 UPDATE: Officers Investigating a Report of Gunshots in Southeast Portland's Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood

After an extensive neighborhood search, several people were detained and released after investigators obtained their identity.

No gunshot victims were located and there have been no arrests.

This morning, Wednesday January 15, 2014, at 11:14 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report that someone fired several shots from a handgun on Southeast Powell Boulevard at 134th Avenue.

Multiple officers responded to the area and learned that after the shots, several people ran from the area into the surrounding neighborhood.*-..
