11/29/2014 Hazelwood Neighborhood Stabbing Injures Three People

This morning, Saturday November 29, 2014, at 2:36 a.m. East Precinct officers responded to Northeast 126th Avenue and Clackamas Street on the report of a large fight outside a residence and that one person may have been stabbed.

Officers and medical personnel arrived in the area and located a 19-year-old female victim, suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound.

As officers were at the scene they learned that a second stab victim went by private vehicle to a Portland hospital.*-..

12/02/2014 UPDATE #3 - TRAFFIC ALERT: I-205 Southbound Closed at Sandy for Pedestrian Fatality

The man killed on I-205 last night has been identified as 40-year-old Ritchie James Dodge.

The investigation into the crash is continuing and, once complete, will be given to the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office for review.

Traffic has been reopened in all lanes of I-205 southbound.

Traffic Investigators have learned that the deceased male was seen earlier in the northbound lanes of the freeway and may have been panhandling along the northbound on-ramp from Northeast Sandy Boulevard.

The driver that struck the man was not impaired and remained at the scene, cooperating with investigators.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy on Tuesday and confirm the man's identity.

No further updates are expected this evening.
