06/09/2014 UPDATE: Central Precinct Officers Respond to Shooting at Downtown Nightclub

The Gang Enforcement Team is continuing to investigate the shooting at the East China Lounge that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday June 8, 2014.

29-year-old Denson Fleurima of Northeast Portland was injured during the shooting but will survive his injuries.

There have been no arrests in this case and there is no suspect information to share at this time.

Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to contact the Gang Enforcement Team at (503) 823-4106.

09/22/2014 UPDATE: Child Critically Injured in Fall in Southeast Portland's Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood

The 3-year-old boy who fell from a 2nd story window on Sunday afternoon did not survive his injuries despite the life-saving efforts of medical staff at a Portland hospital on Sunday evening.

The Child Abuse Team will review the case but, at this point, there is no indication that this incident is anything but a tragic accident.



On Sunday September 21, 2014, at 3:56 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to Southeast 113th Avenue and Division Street on the report that a small child fell from an upper window and was being transported by private car to a hospital for treatment to a head injury.

Officers and medical personnel arrived on 113th Avenue and met the family with the child.*-..
