01/07/2013 UPDATE #2: Portland Police Conducting a Death Investigation in Southeast Portland

The Oregon State Medical Examiner identified the man found dead on Saturday in Johnson Creek as 31-year-old Roger Hugh Shaw of Southeast Portland. Investigators learned that Shaw had been reported missing on January 3, 2013, and that he had a history of mental health issues and drug addiction. Portland Police Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances of Wednesday night's homicide at 99th and Southeast Stark Street. The Oregon State Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy this morning on 31-year-old Robert Edward Ford Jr., a resident of Southeast Portland. Witnesses at the shooting scene told police that a silver vehicle, possibly a Lexus, was involved in the shooting and that it was last seen headed eastbound on Stark from the parking lot of the Mystic Gentlemen's Club. A Gresham Police Department officer stopped a similar vehicle occupied by four people at 192nd and East Burnside Street.*-..
