10/28/2011 Portland Police Investigating Early Morning Crash Into Southeast Portland Home

Early this morning, Friday October 28, 2011, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to a situation involving a vehicle that struck a house in the 7600 block of Southeast Flavel Street. Officers arrived learned that a red Mazda MX3 coupe had been traveling westbound on Southeast Flavel Street when the driver lost control of the car and it drove through the yard of 7642 Southeast Flavel Street, hitting a front porch post, then continued through a neighboring fence and crashing through the front corner living room of 7632 Southeast Flavel Street and finally coming to rest after impacting a pick-up truck parked in the carport of 7632 Southeast Flavel Street.*-..
