11/24/2010 Updated Information on Officer-Involved Shooting

The Portland Police Bureau has the following updates on the officer-involved shooting that occurred on Tuesday November 23, 2010 at a residence in the 11000 Block of Southeast Cherry Blossom Drive. This morning, Wednesday November 24, 2010, the Oregon State Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on 46-year-old Craig Boehler and determined that he had been shot but that the cause of death was smoke inhalation. Investigators from both the Police Bureau and Fire Bureau continue to investigate the cause of the fire that occurred after the shooting.*-..
