05/15/2015 Convicted Felon Arrested, Rifles Seized After Gun Task Force Investigation (Photo)

On March 28, 2015, Gresham Police Department (GPD) officers contacted 58-year-old David Dean Delker and located two AR-15 rifles in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

GPD officers learned that one of the rifles had an illegally short barrel, and no manufacturer or serial numbers were applied to either rifle.*-..

05/18/2015 UPDATE: Drunk Driver Critically Injures Passenger After Fight Outside North Portland Bar (Photo)

29-year-old Krystle Carruthers, injured in this crash, remains in critical condition at a Portland hospital with life-threatening injuries.

28-year-old Jason Fahlman was treated and released for injuries he suffered when Camacho ran over his foot.



On Sunday May 17, 2015, at 12:36 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of a large fight in the 800 block of North Russell Street.

As officers were en route to the scene, they were provided an update that a male involved in the fight left the White Eagle bar with a female, got into a car and sped away.*-..

05/17/2015 Several Gunshots Fired Into Humboldt Neighborhood Duplex - No Injuries

On Sunday May 17, 2015, at 3:17 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of gunshots fired into a home in the 800 block of Northeast Webster Street.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted the residents of the duplex and learned that nobody in either unit was injured.*-..

05/17/2015 Fight, Shooting Outside Foster-Powell Neighborhood Bar in Southeast Portland - No Known Injuries

On Sunday May 17, 2015, at 2:11 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of a male firing a gun on the corner of Southeast 67th Avenue and Powell Boulevard, then running out of the area.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted several witnesses who told police that a large group of people left Dickey Doo's Bar, 6618 Southeast Powell Boulevard, and got into a physical fight in the parking lot at 67th and Powell.

Witnesses told police that an African American male pulled a gun from his waistband and began shooting towards the crowd and that someone in the crowd returned fire and everyone scattered the area.

Evidence of gunfire was found in the parking lot but no gunshot victims were located or arrived at area hospitals.

The Portland Police Bureau Gang Enforcement Team and Gun Task Force are continuing to actively investigate gang and gun crimes in the City of Portland.*-..
