05/21/2011 Portland Police Investigate Shots Fired Incident in North Portland

This afternoon, Friday May 20, 2011, at approximately 5:25 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct and the Gang Enforcement Team responded to the area of North Fiske Avenue and North McCoy Court on the report of gunshots heard in the area. 05/19/2011 Portland Police Seize Counterfeit Electronics; Arrest 1 Suspect

On Thursday May 19, 2011, Portland Police Bureau Detectives assigned to the White Collar Crimes Detail served a search warrant as part of an investigation into the distribution of counterfeit electronic products. Detectives arrested 38-year-old Hung Truong on one count of Trademark Counterfeiting in the First Degree (Oregon Revised Statute 647.150). Truong will be arraigned in Multnomah County Court on Friday. A media photo opportunity of the seized property is available on Friday May 20, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Portland Police Property and Evidence Division, located at 2619 NW Industrial Way, Suite B-4. Some of the items seized include: 264 Sony Batteries, packaging material including plastic clam shell and cardboard product identity specs for Sony batteries, 129 Nikon batteries, 5 JVC batteries, 4 Olympus batteries, 12 Minolta batteries, 17 Direct TV access cards, 58 Bose speakers, 2,408 Dish Network remotes, 2,130 Sony remotes, and 87 HP remotes.
