Crime Stoppers for week of 05-15-06

May 16, 2006 00:00

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, are asking for your help in finding a wanted registered sex offender.

Multnomah County has issued a warrant with a half-million dollar bail for 35-year-old Masico Laveral Walker, also known as Macio Walker on one count of Rape in the First Degree. Walker is also a registered sex offender who has failed to register his status with the state.

In February of 2005, in Southwest Portland, Walker sexually assaulted an acquaintance. Walker is described as a black male, 5’11” tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Walker has been known to travel to and from Las Vegas. He has a lengthy violent history and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you remain anonymous. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357).
