36-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR MURDER AFTER BODY IS DISCOVERED IN SOUTHEAST PORTLAND

On Thursday, July 13, 2006, at 3:10 am, 36-year-old Jeffery Scott Rogers walked into Central Precinct and told officers that there was a dead person in his home. Rogers then led officers to a residence in the 1600 block of Southeast 48th Avenue, where the officers discovered the body of a middle-aged adult male in a bathtub. Homicide Detectives were called to the scene to initiate an investigation.
