Crime Stoppers Week of 01-01-07

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in finding a burglary suspect.

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warrant for 40-year-old James Sean Carlson on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Additionally, Carlson has been identified through fingerprints as the suspect in an Alameda neighborhood residential burglary from October 2006. Detectives are exploring the possibly that Carlson may be involved in other Alameda area burglaries. He is considered to be a heavy methamphetamine user.

Carlson is described as a white male, 5’11 tall, 175 pounds, with short red hair or may possibly be bald and blue eyes. He was last living in the area of Northeast 79th Avenue and Wygant Street; however, has fled that location and is on the run.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you remain anonymous. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357).
