On Wednesday, November 15, 2006, three suspects entered a locked classroom located inside Portland Community College, 2305 Southeast 82nd Avenue, and took video equipment valued in the thousands of dollars. A surveillance camera caught the three suspects on tape as they arrived by vehicle and later as they were leaving the building. The campus was open and classes were in progress when the suspects broke into the classroom, closed the window blinds, and stole two projectors from inside. Investigators believe the suspects loaded the stolen equipment inside their backpacks, which are seen in the video.
The suspects are described as white males in their late teens or early 20’s, 5’8-5’11” tall with medium builds. Suspect #1 has short light-brown hair, wearing a brown pullover shirt, dark-colored jeans, and dark shoes. Suspect # 2 has close-cropped brown hair, wearing a light-colored zip-up jacket with red stripes down the sleeves and across the chest area, a beige T-shirt, faded jeans, white athletic shoes, and carried a black and blue backpack. Suspect # 3 has short wavy brown hair, a green pullover sweatshirt with writing on it, faded jeans, and carried a black backpack. Suspects fled in a white 4-door sedan with Oregon plates.
