On Thursday, April 5, 2007, at 4:50 a.m., a suspect broke into the 102nd Street Market located at 4646 Northeast 102nd Avenue. On Sunday, April 8, 2007, at 2:35 a.m., the same suspect broke into Subway restaurant located at 10643 Northeast Sandy Blvd. Surveillance video at the 102nd Street Market caught the suspect as he breaks in the front door and quickly moves down the aisle stealing cigarettes, candy, and money from the till. At the Subway burglary, the suspect could not defeat the lock on the cash box so opted to take the entire box with him.
The suspect on video looks to be a white male, possibly late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’6” or shorter, with dark brown or black hair, bushy dark eyebrows. Suspect was wearing a light colored sweatshirt with the hood up, underneath a short sleeve dark shirt or jacket, dark pants, and white shoes. Suspect carried a brown and black Adidas duffel bag and wore a dark colored backpack. He pulled the dark colored shirt over the lower part of his face and appeared to be wearing light colored gloves.
