March 25, 2008 00:00

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help identifying a robber caught on tape.

On February 26, 2008, at 0338 hours, a lone suspect entered the Plaid Pantry, located at 6010 NE Halsey Street and demanded the cash from the till. The clerk, believing the suspect to be armed, handed over the cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid 30’s 5’10” to 6’1” tall, 160 to 180 pounds with a mustache and blue eyes. The suspect was wearing a beanie cap turned inside out, a blue Henley shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. The suspect put the money in his pocket and left westbound on NE Halsey Street.

This suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you remain anonymous. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357).
