Crime Stoppers Week of 04/07/2008

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crimes Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a tavern robbery.

On Friday, March 28, 2008, at 1:00 a.m., Andy’s Inn, located at 7901 Southeast Foster Road was robbed at gunpoint by a lone suspect. The suspect, armed with a handgun, ordered the employee and patrons to the ground and said, “wasn’t afraid to shoot anyone.” The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and left out the door.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 30’s or early 40’s, 6’1” to 6’2” tall, and thin build. He was wearing yellow goggles over his eyes, a yellow hooded windbreaker, a knit cap underneath, and blue jeans.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to a resolution in this case, and you remain anonymous. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357).
