OFFICER REINSTATED AFTER ARBITRATION

The Portland Police Bureau has learned that Eric Carter has been ordered reinstated as a Portland Police Officer by arbitrator Michael Beck. Portland Police Chief Mark A. Kroeker stated that he supports the process of binding arbitration and accepts the ruling of the arbitrator. Chief Kroeker believes that every officer should have the right to appeal to binding arbitration.
