DRUG UNIT SEIZES MORE THAN 5 POUNDS OF COCAINE

During the past two months, members of the Portland Police Bureau’s Drugs and Vice Division investigated several individuals involved in a large-scale drug distribution network operating in the Portland Metropolitan area.

This past week, officers executed search warrants in both Portland and Lake Oswego. During the execution of the warrants, officers seized more than 5 pounds of cocaine, 90 grams of crack cocaine, 100 grams of heroin, $78,000 in US Currency, 2 assault rifles, and 1 handgun. Officers arrested; 43-year-old Rafael Campos-Munos, 27-year-old Jose Alfredo Jimenez-Nunez, 37-year-old Dona Maria Del Carmen, and 34-year-old Jorge Nieto. All four individuals are now in the custody and the investigation has been referred to the US Attorney’s Office.
