July 28, 2009 00:00

The Beaverton Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in identifying the suspect vehicle and driver involved in a hit and run crash that seriously injured a Beaverton man.

On July 7, 2009, at approximately 11:48 p.m., Beaverton Police responded to the 8500 block of SW Hall Boulevard near SW Scholls Ferry Road after a bicyclist was struck by a pickup truck leaving a nearby parking lot. The truck and driver were last seen fleeing the scene eastbound on SW Hall Boulevard, leaving the injured bicyclist in the middle of the roadway.

The suspect vehicle is a tan, late 80’s or early 90’s Ford Ranger pickup with no tailgate.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you remain anonymous. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP (4357) or leave a tip online at www.crimestoppersoforegon.com.
