HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED

On Thursday, March 21, 2002, at approximately 8:31 p.m., Portland Police Officers responded to 333 S.W. Oak on a 9-1-1 call regarding a possible stabbing. In the fourth floor hallway of the apartment complex, officers discovered the body of 47-year-old Anthony C. Wilson. Homicide investigators were called to the scene, and an autopsy was performed. The Medical Examiner has determined that the cause of death was a stab wound to the upper body.

Throughout Friday morning, detectives processed the crime scene and interviewed witnesses. The suspect has been described as a white male in his early 20s, 5’6, 150 pounds, medium-length blond hair. Witnesses state that the suspect is known by the name, “Josh.” The suspect was wearing a baseball cap, a white T-shirt and white shoes.
