UPDATE ARREST IN HOMICIDE

On Saturday, March 23, 2002, shortly after 8 p.m., Portland Police Bureau Officers arrested 21-year-old Gage Michael Martin at his home, 10759 SE Boise Street, Portland. Martin, who is lodged in the Justice Center Jail, is charged with 1 count of Murder and 3 counts of Tampering with a Witness. The charges stem from the homicide of 20-year-old Jason Lee-Lopez Parker on December 9, 2001, at SE 147th and Lincoln. Parker, of Washougal, Washington, died at the scene of a stab wound. According to investigators, more than 100 young people were at a party in the 1900 block of SE 147th Avenue, when the homicide occurred.
