JOINT TERRORISM TASK FORCE

On September 26, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., Chief Mark A. Kroeker of the Portland Police Bureau will address the Portland City Council on the Portland Police Bureau’s continued participation in the Portland Joint Terrorism Task Force. The mission of the Portland Joint Terrorism Task Force is to investigate and prosecute those responsible for criminal acts of terrorism.

The Portland Police Bureau has participated in the task force for the past 12 months. The task force is a proactive investigative tool that exists to combat criminal terrorism.
