SUSPECT STEALS RED CROSS DONATIONS

Between November 16, 2001 and November 22, 2001, the Portland Police Bureau has investigated the theft of Red Cross donation boxes from four separate Portland area convenience stores. In each incident the suspect enters the store, takes the donation box, and quickly exits the store.

The suspect is described as a white male, heights ranging from 5’8” to 6’3”, with a slim build and a black stocking cap. A photograph of the suspect is available from the Portland Police Bureau Identification Division at (503) 823-0382.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sergeant Jeanne Stevenson at (503) 823-2155.

Crime Stoppers is also offering a cash reward of up to $1,000.00 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, which leads to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP.
