Ofc. Huffstetler's Family Invites Citizens to Memorial

On Thursday, May 30, 2002, at 2:00 p.m., at the New Hope Community Church located at 1731 SE Stephens, Clackamas County, the public is invited to join the law enforcement community in a memorial service for Portland Police Officer Kirk Huffstetler. Prior to the memorial, family and friends will attend a private service. Following the private service, a processional will pass by Northeast Precinct, the Portland Pubic School Police Office, and the Franklin High School baseball field. The route of the processional will be:

The processional is scheduled to pass by Northeast Precinct at 12:00 p.m. and will arrive at New Hope Community Church at approximately 1:15 p.m.

The Huffstetler family would like to invite media representatives to the funeral at New Hope Community Church but are requesting the media to use a pool camera to film the memorial service. Alison Huffstetler has also asked that her family not be filmed during the service.
