DETECTIVES CONTINUE DEATH INVESTIGATION

On June 10, 2002, 9-1-1 received a medical call regarding an unconscious child in a bathtub. The child, identified as 3-year-old Taylor Madison Overton, was transported to Emanuel Hospital, where she later died. Consistent with Portland Police Bureau policy, Homicide Detectives initiated an investigation and processed the scene.

On June 11, 2002, the Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and is awaiting the results of several tests to determining the cause of death. Taylor Madison Overton’s family is cooperating with detectives.
