CRIME STOPPERS FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 24, 2002

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in identifying and apprehending the person, or persons, responsible for graffiti-vandalism to certain large outdoor billboards in southeast and southwest Portland.

The vandalism thus far has only been to billboards that advertise Coos Beer, and the graffiti on the billboards has included references to alcohol and/or the female models in the billboard ad. And while the ads on the billboards are a national promotion, only billboards in Portland have been vandalized

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony crime, and you need not give your name. Call Crime Stoppers at (503) 823-HELP.
