Detectives seek witnesses to attempted murder

DETECTIVES SEEK WITNESSES AFTER PARTIALLY CLOTHED UNCONSCIOUS TEENAGER FOUND IN STREET

On Tuesday, October 22, 2002, at 11:18 p.m., a Southeast Precinct Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of Southeast 10th Avenue where he discovered a partially clothed female. The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Jennifer Ann McKibbon. McKibbon was unconscious and transported to an area hospital where it was determined that she sustained a life-threatening head injury. McKibbon has not regained consciousness.

The Portland Police Bureau Detective Division Homicide/Assault Detail is asking anyone, who may know McKibbon or had contact with McKibbon in the days or hours leading up to October 22, 2002, call the Portland Police Bureau at (503) 823-0479.

This investigation is continuing.
