US Marshall, FBI, and DEA deliver drug money to police

US MARSHAL, FBI, AND THE DEA TO DELIVER DRUG PROCEEDS TO THE PORTLAND POLICE BUREAU

On Thursday, October 31, 2002, at 9:30 a.m., in the Chief's Conference Room on the 15th Floor of the Justice Center, Special Agent Charles Matthews III of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Marshal Dennis Merrill, and Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Portland District Office of the Drug Enforcement Administration Kenneth W. Magee will deliver approximately $293,845.85 to the Portland Police Bureau. The money is the proceeds from drug investigations conducted by the Portland Police Bureau's Drugs and Vice Division in cooperation with the FBI, DEA, and US Marshals Office and submitted for Federal Prosecution. Acting Chief Andrew Kirkland and Drugs and Vice Division Captain Cliff Madison will accept the money on behalf of the Portland Police Bureau.
