Police Bureau Honors citizens and officers

At 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 19, 2002, the Portland Police Bureau will honor citizens and officers at the Police Bureau's General Award Ceremony. This year's ceremony will be held at the Newmark Theatre, located at 1111 SW Broadway. During this year's ceremony, Portland Police Chief Mark A. Kroeker will present more than 140 awards including the Police Star, Police Medals, Citizen Heroism Medal, Life Saving Medals, Distinguished Service Medals, Achievement Medals, and several Unit Commendations. Nine citizens will receive awards during the ceremony.The public is invited to attend the awards ceremony.
